Let's dare to take a short excursion into the world of the world-associations.
A world that we have never been interested in particularly until recently.
However since Dieter Baumann has disappeared in the jungle of paragraphs of
the athletics world-association, we know what the cryptic abbreviation IAAF
means. But we have placed ourselves the question in front of construction
worker actually already once why there are world-associations at all? A possible
explanation is: It cannot simply be that itself the people fresh, devout,
cheerfully and amuses the calisthenics gives up. Rules must. And the observance
of these rules must be checked for the strictest. The athlete is controlled
by the local sports club, that from the circle-association, that from the
district-association, that from the regional-association, that from the German
association, that is controlled by the world-association on the other hand.

This world-association fights with all methods against it that his sport
becomes more attractive. Other world-associations make it different: They take
care of it that their athletes become more attractive. Or at least this, which
they consider more attractive. Do you remember the scream of the indignation,
as the Volleyball world-association for its wives scarcest and narrowly to be done
jerseys stipulated? Yes: About such important things, an association has itself
to concern naturally; no matter, whether air still participates in the ball or
not.
Hardly to believe, but maintains: Also the world-association of the
